What we believe

Our Beliefs

This is a formal declaration of our doctrines.
The Bible

The Bible is the inspired Word of God and the revealed will of God. (II Timothy 3:15-17, I Peter 1:23-25, Hebrews 4:12)

The Trinity

There is one true God, manifested to man as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19; I John 5:17)

Deity of Jesus

The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ is clearly taught in scriptures. He was God manifested in the flesh. He was fully God and fully Man. (Isaiah 9:6, John 1:1-14, Philippians 2:5-11)

Imago Dei

Mankind was created in God’s image, therefore every life is precious. God created male and female. Human life begins at conception. (Genesis 1:26-31, Genesis 5:1-2, Genesis 9:6, Exodus 20:13, Deuteronomy 5:17, Exodus 21:12, Leviticus 24:17, Exodus 21:22-25)

Sin and Salvation

By voluntary transgression Man fell and his only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Man’s redemption is made possible only by faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. This salvation comes by believing in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead and confessing with your mouth Jesus as Lord. (Genesis 3:1-7, Romans 5:12-21, Romans 3:24, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8)

Water Baptism

Baptism in water is a declaration to the world that a believer has died with Christ and that they have been raised with Him to walk in newness of life. (Matthew 28:19, Acts 10:47-48, Romans 6:4)

The Lord's Supper (Communion)

The celebration of the Lord’s supper by eating of the bread and drinking of the cup is a remembrance of Jesus. (Matthew 26:26-30, Mark 14:22-26, Luke 22:14-20, John 6:53-58, I Corinthians 11:24)

Baptism of the Holy Spirit

All believer’s are entitled to, and should ardently expect and earnestly seek, the promise of the Father, the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to the command of Jesus Christ. With this comes the endowment of power for life and service, the bestowment of gifts and their uses in the work of the ministry. This experience is distinct and subsequent to the experience of the New Birth. (Luke 24:49, Acts 1:4-8, Acts 2:38-39, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 11:14-16, Acts 15:7-9, I Corinthians 12:1-31)

Ministry of the Holy Spirit

The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is evidenced by the initial physical sign of speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance and by the subsequent manifestation of spiritual power in public testimony and service. (Acts 1:8, Acts 2:4, Acts 10:44-46, Acts 19:2-6)

Gifts of the Holy Spirit

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are given by the will of the Holy Spirit, to whomever He wishes, for the edification of the Church. These include the Word of Wisdom, the Word of Knowledge, the Gift of Faith, the Gifts of Healing, the Working of Miracles, the Gift of Prophecy, the discerning of Spirits, the Gift of Tongues and the Gift of Interpretation of Tongues. These gifts are present and active today. (I Corinthians 12:4-11)

The Church

The church is the Body of Christ and each member is an Integral part of it. (I Corinthians 12:12-31, Ephesians 1:22, Ephesians 2:19-22, Hebrews 12:23)

Godly Provision

God has provided total provision for mankind.
• Spiritual (John 3:3-11, II Corinthians 5:17-21, Romans 10:9-10)
• Mental (II Timothy 1:7, Romans 12:2; Isaiah 26:3)
• Physical (Isaiah 53:4-5, Matthew 8:17, I Peter 2:24)
• Financial (III John 1:2, Malachi 3:10-11, Luke 6:38, II Corinthians 9:6-10, Deuteronomy 28:1-14)

Second Coming of Christ

We have a blessed hope: Jesus is coming again to gather all His Saints (I Corinthians 15:51-52, I Thessalonians 4:16-17, II Thessalonians 2:1)

Eternal Judgment

Those who do not accept the redemptive work of Jesus Christ will suffer eternal separation from God. (Rev 19:20, Rev 20:10-15)
